When this Baltimore row was designed in 1865, it was intended to be typical development. But a tragic paranormal accident on the property took the life of the developer’s oldest son, Jacob.  In tribute, he named it Jacob’s Way, later to become known as Mercy Row, and redesigned the Mercy Row in a new, elaborate style that continues to attract distinctive tenants—from ruthless corporate climbers, to swingers, to experts in the paranormal.

As a lover of history, I became enthralled by the strange history of Mercy Row and the unusual stories of the people who live in here.  So I created this Website to share my discoveries and reveal a glimpse of what goes on here through our blogs.  You’re welcome to read them, and to make your own entries as our lives interweave on Mercy Row.

Jessica and Lindsey Walker

Hey! Jessie and I are twins if you can believe that. We're from Atlanta and we are here going to school. My Dad bought this home so we had a nice place to live while we’re in school. Cool! He's great.

Lindsey and I love to shop for the best fashions, shoes, bags and whatever. We like to go to night clubs and dance the night away.

We transferred from Georgia State because our parents said we needed a change of pace. I guess we like to party too much ;-) They think this area will calm us down. I don't think so!

Wow what a party
I have several pics from the night we all went out to the clubs. I blocked the faces because I don't want another fight with anyone. So don't ask me who they are. You know who you are.

After we came home.
