When this Baltimore row was designed in 1865, it was intended to be typical development. But a tragic paranormal accident on the property took the life of the developer’s oldest son, Jacob. In tribute, he named it Jacob’s Way, later to become known as Mercy Row, and redesigned the Mercy Row in a new, elaborate style that continues to attract distinctive tenants—from ruthless corporate climbers, to swingers, to experts in the paranormal. |
